Michelle is someone full of surprises.

On our first date, she ordered squid ink pasta immediately, and giggled about the possibility of stained-teenth right after the meal.

She invited me for a bubble tea after. I know I’d not be able to sleep if I had bubble tea at the time.

But did I say no?

To my surprise, I immediately agreed.

But it was probably the conversations we shared at dinner that went deep to more than small talks, but our respective journeys and perspectives in life, that led me to this surprisingly acceptance of my no-sleep night.
